FAQ

  • Please reach out to me to schedule a 10-minute complementary consultation to see if we're a good match.

If I'm not available to work with you, I'll offer a referral to a colleague or a spot on my waitlist.

  • This alphabet soup means a few things:

LMHC: Licensed Mental Health Counselor. This means I am a fully-licensed therapist who can practice independently. Fully-licensed therapists have completed several years of post-graduate work, supervision, and training.

MHP and CMHS: Mental Health Professional and Child Mental Health Specialist indicates I have completed the necessary number of training hours to hold these designations by the State of Washington

NCC: National Certified Counselor is a separate, national credential I carry that requires additional ethics and clinical training

Ultimately, the most important thing about choosing a therapist is how they make you feel and the way they support your goals.

We go at your pace and start where it feels right. At the end of the session, we'll check-in and see if we're a match. If I'm not the best fit for you, I'll connect you with colleague.

  • I see clients 16+; however, I see youth younger than 16 in some circumstances. Please reach out and inquire about availability.

  • The length of therapy depends on your goals.

Clients recovering from a stressful event or significant life adjustment may need a longer timeline compared to someone who needs maintenance therapy.

  • When we first start working together, I recommend meeting weekly at first. This way we can get some good traction early on.

In time, we may transition to every other week.

  • I offer in-person sessions at my Bremerton office, telehealth appointments, and walk-and-talk sessions. Walk-and-talk sessions are prearranged after we chat about the risks/benefits.

  • Please reach out to me with the details of your project, and I'll offer an estimate.
